about me
I am a Cambridge based photographer and food stylist, helping people tell their story. Independently of the subject, my aim is to capture authenticity over perfection, the beauty in the simplest of things and the in-between moments. If you feel our visions align, I'd love to help you tell you story through images.
My work is a culmination of the things that I'm most passionate about. I love creating with my hands and have spent quite a bit of time making wares that make a house a home. From naturally dyed linens to hammering copper into bowls. My husband taught me how to whittle wood into spoons, you'll find them in every corner of our home. I also have a soft spot for painting watercolour stills, I seem to have a soft spot for pears and my surname translates to "pear tree", so I occasionally go by the name of "Mrs Peartree". Food is my biggest passion, it brings people together. Simple, seasonal, sustainable, locally sourced food. So it seems most of the things I do revolve around food and people! The flavours on our table are heavily influenced by my Portuguese and Mozambican roots (plus a few things we've picked along our journey). We occasionally share some of our favourite things around our communal table { A Mesa Supperclub }. If you would like to collaborate, or just say hello!
